| Eric MacLean - Overnights |
| Eric grew up as an only child in Detroit. On his 12th birthday, his dad brought home Kelsey, a two-year-old lab mix (pictured, dog on the left). The two of them grew up together and neighbors used to say wherever you saw one the other was right behind. Thus began his close connection with animals. Since then, Eric has completed his Industrail Design degree from the University of Cincinnati and has pursued a career in Design Management at the Dial Corporation. Eric came to Bella's in the summer of '07 expressing a sincere interest to adopt a dog but quickly realized that his day job would not allow the proper amount of time and dedication he believed a pet should have on a daily basis. Doing overnights for Bella's has enabled Eric to exhibit his love for animals and still maintain his "day job." |

| Pam has been involved with and surrounded by animals her entire life. She has a very large 'fur family' of four dogs and two cats! She has been a foster/rescue volunteer for the past 14 years, working with several local and national rescue organizations. She always has someone "extra" staying at her house awaiting its forever home. (Feel free to ask her about her current foster(s) that need a great home!) She feels fostering is a great way to "give back"; and while doing so, she can also involve and teach her three daughters the value of life and all that is precious. Before moving to Arizona, she worked in a veterinary clinic in Omaha, NE where she was born and raised. Since moving to Scottsdale five years ago, she has worked at and managed a very large and busy local Pet Resort, and was responsible for overseeing the care of grooming, daycare and boarding dogs, cats, birds and critters of all sorts. She has recently resigned from that position and is very happy and proud to be a part of the BHPS team where she can continue to care for and love all the furkids with an elevated level of individual attention. She is eager to meet you and your pets! |

| Stephanie Soltes grew up the child of a Vet Tech in the suburbs of Columbus, OH and Detroit, MI. At some point, she had nearly every domestic animal as a pet; a Springer Spaniel, a Samoyed, a Shitzu, a Ragdoll cat, Cockatiels, Love Birds, a Grey-Cheeked Parakeet, lizards and iguanas, fresh and salt water fish tanks, gerbils and hamsters. She bred and showed Lionhead rabbits through the 4H Club local to Columbus, OH throughout her youth.
Every spring, people would bring baby wild animals into her mother’s vet office that they had found injured or abandoned. Stephanie spent a great deal of time caring for the orphans and nursing them back to health. Everything from ducklings, bunnies, raccoons, squirrels, turtles, even a deer fawn. She loved caring for all animals, a trait that she inherited from her mother. Stephanie recently moved back to Arizona in April 2008 after she married her high school boyfriend. Having lived here before, she knew her beloved Clancy, a Soft-Coated Wheaton Terrier, would not fare well in the heat and had to find a new home for him where he could continue to roll in the snow banks that he loved so much. Her house is full with the activity of a two year old son, but there are no wagging tails waiting for her when she comes home. Between her family and her day job, Stephanie sought to work with Bella’s so she could continue to love and care for animals when she could no longer have her own. Pet CPR/First Aid Certification is pending. |
