| Created by: Bella's House & Pet Sitting 2002 |
| Bella's is the best.... All of Bella's House & Pet Sitting employees (not independent contractors!) not only go through an extensive background check, but are personally hand picked, screened, and trained by Danielle Vasta, the Owner. As Danielle states, "Each of my employee's are a direct extention of me. They are like my left and right arm. I trust them, I have trained them, and tested them, therefor vouch for them." Bella's only hires the best!" |
| Danielle Vasta grew up in an Italian household to the nickname of "DaniellaBELLA" Now, most people call her Bella. Growing up she had a fur sister named Gigi, who was a black and white house cat, and Max, a rescue dog who was a lab and beagle mix. Bella started the company in 2002 practically on accident while she was attending Arizona State University. In 2004 when she graduated with her BA in Human Communication she made the decision that she wanted to go full stream ahead with her business.
Since 2002, Bella has become a national leader in the pet sitting industry. In 2007, BHPS was awarded the National Pet Sitting Business of the Year Award. Bella, herself was also awarded the Member In Action Award given by NAPPS for her national volunteer work to the organization. She has been Interviewed on NPR's Dog Talk Radio Show and interviewed on the Martha Stewart's Cat Chat Radio on SIRUS Satellite Radio. In 2007 she also launched Bella's Business Consulting LLC where she coaches pet sitters across the country on how to start or expand their companies and in 2008 internationally launched The Business of Pet Sitting LLC to inspire, motivate, and challenge pet sitting business owners to heighten the level of professionalism while creating and achieving their goals. Locally, Bella has solid relationships with veterinarians, groomers and trainers. She has been seen in the Scottsdale Airpark Magazine, Scottsdale Tribune, Arizona republic, KFNN and 98.7 The Peak. She is the author of www.scottsdalepetexpert.com and the creator of Yappy Hours held in the winter months on the second Monday of every month. Bella enjoys gathering people together, learning, and growing. Bella believes I building solid relationships with all two and four legged clients. It is her company's goal to gain each clients trust, so they can have the peace of mind they deserve when they can't be at home with their fur kid. |

| Deborah is a Scottsdale resident and Arizona native. Her children are 12 and 15 years old and she is also "owned" by a Portuguese Water Dog, Waterford , and a Maltise-Poodle, Mitzy, who was a rescue. She has also raised two guinea pigs, aquarium fish, and a gopher snake as well as a couple of baby chicks who turned out to be roosters.
Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, Deborah was a security consultant in Scottsdale designing burglary, fire and medical alarm systems. Her desire for peace of mind for herself and her pets was what led her to this field. Deborah is Bella's House & Pet Sitting's security advisor. Be sure to ask her for suggestions on how to make your home more safe. She also stressed the importance of a monitored smoke detector when the homeowner was away to protect their pets as well as the house. To this day she still has a passion for giving peace of mind to others for a better quality of life. Deborah is available for day visits. | Stephanie Kotula grew up the child of a Vet Tech in the suburbs of Columbus, OH and Detroit, MI. At some point, she had nearly every domestic animal as a pet; a Springer Spaniel, a Samoyed, a Shitzu, a Ragdoll cat, Cockatiels, Love Birds, a Grey-Cheeked Parakeet, lizards and iguanas, fresh and salt water fish tanks, gerbils and hamsters. She bred and showed Lionhead rabbits through the 4H Club local to Columbus, OH throughout her youth.
Every spring, people would bring baby wild animals into her mother's vet office that they had found injured or abandoned. Stephanie spent a great deal of time caring for the orphans and nursing them back to health. Everything from ducklings, bunnies, raccoons, squirrels, turtles, even a deer fawn. She loved caring for all animals, a trait that she inherited from her mother. Stephanie recently moved back to Arizona in April 2008 after she married her high school boyfriend. Having lived here before, she knew her beloved Clancy, a Soft-Coated Wheaton Terrier, would not fare well in the heat and had to find a new home for him where he could continue to roll in the snow banks that he loved so much. Her house is full with the activity of a two year old son, but there are no wagging tails waiting for her when she comes home. Between her family and her day job, Stephanie sought to work with Bella's so she could continue to love and care for animals when she could no longer have her own. Stephanie is also Pet CPR/First Aid Certified. Although Stephanie is a lover of cats and dogs, her schedule fits perfectly mainly for Bella's feline clients. |
