During the Human Societies National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week Nov 5 – 11th, Danielle Vasta, owner of Bella’s House & Pet Sitting will be delivering over 170 items worth well over $2000.00 to Paw Placement, a pet rescue group located in Scottsdale. In conjunction with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters program Presents 4 Pets (P4P) Vasta solicited her clients for donations of blankets, toys, food, bleach, newspapers, beds, leashes, etc. The response was so successful that U-Haul at 84th St and Hayden in Scottsdale came to the rescue with their own donation of storage unit. “I received multiple 40lbs bags of dog food, bottles of bleach, bags and bags of toys, countless blankets, and even dog costumes!” says Vasta. The clients of Bella’s House & Pet Sitting really showed they cared and gave (lots) back to the less fortunate pets, and the non profit organization Paw Placement who cares for them. Becky, director for Paw Placement is even more thrilled at the idea that her shelter will be the lucky recipient of the donations. Paw Placement: A Helping Hand for Pets is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization. They are dedicated to finding committed homes for cats and dogs whose owners can no longer provide quality care due to unforeseen circumstances. their goal is to "re-home" displaced animals based upon thoughtful consideration of the animals' best interests. NAPPS created Presents 4 Pets in support of their mission statement to promote the welfare of animals and to help members have the chance to give back to their community by fostering relationships between the community and shelters. It is a chance for pet sitters to help give back to the community. Bella’s House & Pet Sitting provides day visits, walk, overnights, and more services many rescued animals.
